
Coatings
We offer our coated fabric in different structures, grammages, widths and colours.

Silicone
- Application temperature up to 260°C / special silicones up to 300°C
- Coatings possible on one or both sides, as well as multi-layers and combinations
- Grammages from 20 g/m² for each fabric side
- Coating in transfer processes for a smooth surface
- Special settings such as “anti-blocking”, high reflectance, silk matt, “sew friendly”, etc. are possible.
- Silicone laminations with stainless steel films, every kind of metal films as well as other textile composites
- Properties/characteristics: weather-resistant, good light and UV resistance, good electrical insulating capacity, high composite flexibility, dirt-, water- and oil-repellent, good abrasion and cut resistance
- Various flame protection standards attainable
- Colours: grey, red-brown, white, black – further colours on request
- Possible support fabric: glass fabric made of filament yarns or threads, with or without V4A wire or textured, aramide fabric and mixtures – others upon request
Examples of use are: automobile, shipping, aircraft construction, insulations, compensators, fire curtains, textile construction, protective clothing (PPE), welding protection….

Polyurethane (PU)/ polyvinyl acetate (PVA)/ polyacrylate (PAC)
- PU up to 200°C application temperature, good cleaning resistance, very good chemical, weather and UV resistance, good abrasion and cut resistance
- PVA up to 180°C application temperature, good abrasion and cut resistance, resistant to oils, fats and organic solvents
- PAC up to 150°C application temperature, good abrasion and cut resistance, good chemical and weather resistance
- Coating possible on one or both sides
- Multi-layer processes for smoother surfaces possible
- Coating layers from 5 g per fabric side possible
- Different flame resistance norms attainable (A2, B1, M0, M1, FMVSS,…), also non-halogen
- Possible as dip finishing
- Various film hardnesses possible, highly reflecting
- Topcoat oil- and water-repellent possible
- Also possible as lamination base
- Colours: grey, red-brown, white, black – more upon request
- Possible support fabric: glass fabric made of filament yarns or threads, with and without V4A wire or textured, aramide fabric and mixtures – others upon request
Examples of use are: tube industry, fire and flue gas protective curtains, insulation possibility for the interior and interior sector, protective clothing (PPE), automobile, shipping and aircraft construction, welding protection…

Vermiculite (VM)
- Temperature resistance up to 1200°C, depending on substrate
- One- and both-sided coating
- Also as a dip finishing
- Properties/characteristics: good flexibility, protection against liquid metal splashes and clinkers, very good heat reflection, incombustible, not electrically conductive
- Possible support fabric: glass fabric made of filament yarns or threads, with or without V4A wire or textured
Examples of use are: welding containment curtains, welding back-ups, high-temperature insulations, fire protection….

Expanding graphite (expanded graphite) in a silicone matrix
- Expansion effect as of approx. 220°C
- Coating possible on one or both sides
- Possible support fabric: glass fabric made of filament yarns or threads, with or without V4A wire or textured
Examples of use are: fire protection doors, fire curtains, pipe insulations, caulkings…
